Just thirty minutes south of Boston, River Wind Farm is an
established hunter/jumper barn that offers riders of all ages and
abilities exceptional instruction. With an emphasis on safety,
horsemanship and show skills, the trainers at River Wind Farm work
with their students to meet their individual goals. At River Wind
Farm, all riders share a passion for horses.
The lesson program is designed for the casual and competitive
rider. Private, semi-private and small group lessons are offered
and dependable school horses are available for all levels.
Schooling shows are held during the summer for riders in the lesson
program that do not own horses. Students that are interested in
riding outside of lessons and showing at local shows have the option
of leasing a quality horse from River Wind.
Carl Catani, River Wind Farm owner, is a well-respected trainer
on the A-rated show circuit and his students have competed
successfully on the national and local level. River Wind Farm’s
reputation on the show circuit attracts competitive riders from the
region. Each year River Wind Farm equestrians qualify for the
prestigious National Indoor Finals and they consistently place in the
high-ribbons. The farm is also recognized for training horses to be
successful in the show ring. Abigail Greer, River Wind Farm trainer,
is recognized for her accomplishments as a professional rider. The River
Wind Farm show season starts in February with the HITS Ocala Winter
